Biography

After studying mathematical physics, Michel Jacques retrained in actuarial science. A professor at the École d'actuariat since 1992, he has taught in the fields of life insurance mathematics, claims modeling in property and casualty insurance, and stochastic processes underlying financial risks. He was also Director of the Bachelor of Actuarial Science program and Director of the School. Since 2007, he has been seconded to the university administration.
